Curtis A. Sikyta earned his J.D. Degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1978. While in law school, he clerked for several different law firms in Wahoo, Blair and Lincoln, Nebraska. Mr. Sikyta joined Weems Law Office in Ord, becoming a partner in Weems and Sikyta Law Office in 1979. In 1980, Mr. Sikyta began his solo practice in Ord. He moved into his current location at the Ord Professional Center in 1982. Mr. Sikyta is also Deputy County Attorney for Garfield County.

Heather L. Sikyta earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Nebraska Wesleyan in 2000 and her J.D. Degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2010. Ms. Sikyta joined her father's practice in 2010.

She is the city attorney for the Cities of Burwell, Ord and Sargent and the village attorney for the Villages of Elyria, North Loup, Palmer and Rockville. Heather is also the Sherman and Howard County Attorney.
Ms. Sikyta is an Approved Parenting Act Mediator. She mediates parenting plans both privately and through her association with Central Mediation Center.
