We represent businesses of all sizes, as well as institutional, governmental and individual clients. We are community oriented, serving on numerous boards and committees and providing legal services for many organizations.
Our main location is in Ord on the main level of the Ord Professional Center at 314 S. 14th St. We also have locations in Spalding, Burwell and Loup City. The Spalding office is located at 124 W. St. Joseph St. and is open on Wednesday afternoons or by appointment. The Burwell office is located at 455 Grand Avenue (Dale Crandall's old office) and is open Tuesday afternoons or by appointment. The Loup City office is located at 734 O Street (just east of Heritage Bank) and is open on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or by appointment.
Curtis A. Sikyta earned his J.D. Degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1978. While in law school, he clerked for several different law firms in Wahoo, Blair and Lincoln, Nebraska. Mr. Sikyta joined Weems Law Office in Ord, becoming a partner in Weems and Sikyta Law Office in 1979. In 1980, Mr. Sikyta began his solo

Ms. Sikyta is a member of the Nebraska Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Nebraska. She is the city attorney for the Cities of Burwell, Ord and Sargent and the village attorney for the Villages of Elyria, North Loup, Palmer and Rockville. Heather is also the Sherman County Attorney.
Ms. Sikyta is an Approved Parenting Act Mediator. She mediates parenting plans both privately and through her association with Central Mediation Center.
